The Director General of Teachers Continuous Training Institute, Prof. Taoheed Adedoja commended the then Governor of Cross River State Prof. Sir Ben Ayade for creating job opportunities to the teaming youths in Cross River State.
The Director General stated this in a meeting held with the Pioneer Staff of the Teachers Continuous Training Institute (TCTI) Biase in Ayade Amphitheatre on 24th February, 2022.
Prof. Adedoja said the dream of the then Governor of Cross River State is fulfilled in creating enabling environment for teachers across West Africa and to create job opportunities for youths in the state. Adding that the Staff of TCTI should consider their work in the Institute as the achievement of the then Governor's effort to improve the wellbeing of their lives. Furthermore, he said the Governor has approved payment of salaries to all TCTI Staff.
Also speaking, the Deputy Director General of TCTI Mrs. Mary Omaji advised Staff to live up to their duties to complement government effort. She however, warned that Staff who may have gotten a Civil Service job before now should disengage from the previous one or apply for secondment to avoid receiving two salaries from the Civil Service.

Meanwhile, the Bursar of the Institute Mrs. Margaret Odey reiterated that if Management discover Staff earning salary from TCTI and the Civil Service or Public Service without notifying the constituted authority, then drastic disciplinary measures will be taken.
In another development, the Registrar of the Institute Mrs. Rebecca Joseph Odumusor thanked the Director General for his good job and also advised TCTI Staff to exhibit good character among Staff by according Senior Staff the respect they deserve.
