The Executive Secretary of Biase Local Government Education Authority, Bishop Martin Aquah called on teachers to leave up to their duties in order to complement government effort to ensure standard teaching and learning in educational sector.
The Executive Secretary made the call on the 20th January 2022 in a meeting held with the deputy headmasters and 'ABTION' Executives at the Teachers Continuous Training Institute Multipurpose Hall.
Bishop Martin said teachers who are fond
of absconding from duties should desist
from such act so as to avert drastic
disciplinary measures being taken upon
them.
The Secretary informed the Teachers that
the SUBEB had
earlier
planned a
verification exercise for all the Teachers
across the State.
Meanwhile he warned head Teachers and deputy Head Teachers to avoid including dead Teachers names into Staff disposition.
On that note, the appointment of Head
Teachers and their deputies including
Transfer of Teachers must be forwarded
to the SUBEB office for approval.
In another development the Executive
Secretary called on Teachers to use the
opportunity granted them through the Teachers Continuous Training
Institute to develop themselves
professionally in other to meet the
international standard of a
professional Teacher. Reacting to
that, some teachers expressed
satisfaction for the installation of
good facilities in TCTI Biase Local
Government Area.
